A simple Guide to Pokemon TCG Mutant Draft

You buy 4 booster packs from the store and sit down with everyone else on the table.

1. Each player opens 1 pack and looks at the cards they got. They take out the energy card and they choose 1 card from the pack.

2. Once you pick your card, you pass the rest of the cards to the person on your left. You do step one again.

3. Once the cards are all finished, you open the second pack and do the same steps. Until all 4 packs have been opened and you picked them.

4. You then build a deck of 40 cards which will include energy cards (the store has energy cards for players to borrow)

Gameplay rules

1. You can evolve Pokémon ignoring the evolution requirements but not their type.

That means you can evolve a stage 1 Pokémon on top of a basic, as long as the type is the same. (E.g: Squirtle can evolve to Polwag etc)

2. The Pokémon prize (your life) is 4 cards.

3. Games will be best out of 3. That means the first one to beat another player twice wins the match!

4. It will be Swiss rounds, meaning you will play at least 3 matches.

5. Each round will be 50 minutes.

Prizes We will be giving everyone a pack at least as a prize for joining. But top players will get more prizes. (Packs are the prizes) Entry fee BD9 (which includes 4 packs) and you get 1 more pack once you finish at least 2 matches.
